The presence of asbestos-like fibers has been confirmed by a second geologist at a proposed iron ore mine in Penokee Hills, Wisconsin. Gogebic Taconite (GTAC) is a Florida-based company hoping to dig the world’s largest open put iron ore mine near the Bad River Ojibwe Reservation in Wisconsin.
